District Heating
The A2A Group is active in the production, distribution and sale of heat in the cities of Milan, Brescia, Bergamo and in some municipalities in the suburbs of Brescia and Milan.
Production of heating derives mainly from cogeneration centres of Lamarmora (Brescia), Goltara and Carnovali (Bergamo) Milan-Tecnocity, Milan-Famagosta, from the station at Sesto San Giovanni (Milan), from the thermo electric station at Cassano d'Adda and from the district heatingof Brescia and Figino (Milan).
A2A is furthermore involved in the realisation of new projects relating to the extension of the district heating networks in the territory of the Municipalities of Milan, Brescia, Bergamo and Novara
The distribution and the sale of heat is carried out by A2A Calore & Servizi.
