Brand and Identity
A sign of our evolution
With the 2015-2020 Industrial Plan, the A2A Group is increasingly focused on local services. The company is being modernised, even renewing the symbol that identifies it, which is how the new brand came to be.
The new brand resembles a map of a stylised city.
Indeed, our services are well integrated into the cities as essential, although they are often invisible.
The city is seen from above: we see the big picture. This enables us to single out all of the connections among the elements of the city including the development of smart city technology, distribution networks for electricity and gas, waste collection, water treatment and public lighting.
The new brand is our map of an ideal city, our way of representing the territory. The brand is an integral part of this ideal city, just as the A2A Group services are.
The brand has been redesigned, yet it is consistent with the previous brand, to reflect the company as a provider of high-quality services. The logo has not changed however. The A is still there since it is the first letter of AEM and ASM and it serves as the semantic root that has always accompanied this company throughout its history. Still applicable is the tag line “Presente nel futuro” (Present in the Future), which is in line with our mission that imagines the future today and operates in the present to seize opportunities.
