The Figures
A2A has created an environmental accounting system that collects environmental data of a physical kind and data concerning the main activities of the plants and services. The system is extended to all Group companies and to the assets included within the scope of the Sustainability Report and is supported by software (EMS - Environmental Management System) administered by the parent and usable from any site / location area.
The bases of detection of information are the individual plants, processes and services. The data are aggregated for the preparation of summary indicators and subjected to horizontal and vertical controls to minimize the risk of errors. In 2010 the system was translated into English so that even the data of the A2A Group plants that are found in other European countries such as France, can be handled in the same way.
